The first workshop in the project “My Story – Along the Northern Lights Route” will be arranged in October and will be focusing on storytelling.
For this event we have teamed up with an expert with long experience within storytelling, communication and business development.
Let us introduce Simen Johannessen who is Senior Account Director at Gambit H+K:
Simen is a senior communication professional with extensive expertise from the corporate world. He works across sectors with a broad range of strategic and operational communication challenges. He heads the travel practice for Gambit H+K.
He has a particular strength in reputation management, issues management, marketing strategy, storytelling and media relations. Amongst his clients are SAS, Hurtigruten, Innovation Norway, Fjord Line, Hertz, DNB, MENY, Vinmonopolet og Mondelēz/ Freia.
Prior to Gambit H+K, Simen was the Nordic Marketing and Communication Director at the Hogg Robinson Group, a travel management company. He has been working within travel most of his professional life with hotels, DMC’s, tour operators and travel agencies. He has been living in Alta, Harstad and Tromsø, and has in-depth knowledge of the travel industry in Norway in general and North-Norway in particular.
He holds a Master of Science in International Hotel Management from Cornell University . He is also a well renowned blogger, and Norway’s most read blogger on US politics. In 2019 he published a book on how companies should manage their reputation.
Simen will give the participating companies in-depth knowledge about storytelling and why it is an important tool.
