While travelling the Northern lights route we had a break at Kilpisjärvi where the nature was covered by a thick and evenly grey mist. To my mind the mist was visually inspiring and very much photogenic so I ended up to the shore of Lake Kilpisjärvi to phorograph the rocky beach and the greyness floating on the lake. Using photoshop afterwards I added a tubular shape to the photograph captured at this moment. This shape depicts the brush of the nature, that during the millenniums created and molded the Northern lights route to the form we see and experience it today.

Luonnonvoimien sivellin
Kulkiessamme Revontultentietä pysähdyimme tauolle Kilpisjärvellä, jossa luonto oli verhoutunut sankkaan ja tasaisen harmaaseen sumuun. Sumu oli mielestäni visuaalisesti inspiroiva ja hyvin valokuvauksellinen, joten päädyinkin Kilpisjärven rantaan valokuvaamaan rantakivikkoa ja järven yllä seisonutta harmautta. Tästä hetkestä tallennettuun valokuvaan on jälkikäteen kuvankäsittelyohjelmassa lisätty putkimainen muoto. Kyseinen muoto kuvaa luonnonvoimien sivellintä, joka on vuosimiljoonien aikana luonut ja muovannut Revontultentin sellaiseksi kuin sen tänä päivänä näemme.
