Inger Birkelund has for the last 8 years performed as a storyteller and actress in various performances, both with her own stories and in collaboration with other performers. Inger writes stories herself, often in a personal approach, based on her historical and cultural background in North of Troms.
Her stories have been presented together with talented musicians like Kristin Mellem, Peter Vang and Øystein Fredriksen. She has also written and told stories in concerts with the choirs Vokal Nord and KvääniÄänii. As a script developer and actor, Inger has participated in several major performances like “Rallar og Bus”, “Kaffekopp og Salmebok”, “Manalaiset”, “Mun Kultani” and “Kyläpeli – Mun Kultani”.
Through her company ihana!, Inger has produced theater, films, festivals and exhibitions.
