We are Päivi and Jukka, a couple living the life of our dreams – moving with the seasons between our two homes in Finland.
In summertime you can visit us at Lake Miekojärvi, close to the Arctic circle. Here we work as kalastajaparisko, as fishers on the lake.
During the winter we move higher up into the north, to lake Jerisjärvi. Our winter home is a cozy spot to spend the Christmas holidays and explore the Fell-Lapland area.
Our way of life is simple and follows the rhythm of the seasons. Surrounding us with nature, allowing its sounds, scents and flavours to become part of our lives is what makes us happy. Inviting the rest of the world to join us for a while is our way of sharing joy and making the world a better place – one guest at a time.
