Our bus trip to Norway went quickly, we travelled through Lapland, momentarily through Sweden, until we reached Norway and were surrounded by fjords and about a dozen reindeers. The scenery in Norway was majestic and the memories I got will last forever but our days in there went by too fast and soon was a time to leave back home. Thanks to Our- stories project we got the chance to hear a wide range of stories in which one of them tells a story of a gnome who rings a golden bell to everyone who violates the peace of forests. This story and the fjords inspired the idea of my painting.

Norjan vuonot
Matkamme Norjan Storslettiin taittui nopeasti linja-autolla, pitkin Suomen käsivartta, hetkellisesti Ruotsin läpi, kunnes sitten saavuimme Norjan vuonojen ympäröimäksi ja porojen tietäväisten katseiden alaisiksi. Maisemat Norjassa olivat majesteettisia ja kokemukset siellä unohtumattomia, mutta päivät vierähtivät aivan liian nopeasti ja pian olikin aika matkustaa takaisin Suomeen. Our-stories hankkeen kautta saimme kuulla monenmoisia tarinoita, joista mieleen parhaiten jäi tarina maahisesta, joka helisytti kelloa metsän rauhaa rikkoville. Tästä tarinasta ja Norjan vuonoista sain ideani maalaukseen.
